STUDIO RULES

At Magical Moon Photography the safety and well being of your baby is our top priority. In order to ensure your

health, comfort and safety throughout your session as well as to ensure we achieve the best results from our

session, we ask you to please familiarise yourself with our studio rules and guidelines.

1) The session is limited to two adults plus an infant per session. Other family members such as siblings or

grandparents can have their images taken but must then leave after their portion. In the case of siblings it is

advisable they leave with one parent and return at the end. This is because young children often find it hard to

sit still and this can become a distracting environment for the photographer to work in which can compromise the

session outcome as well as the safety of your baby.

2) Please arrive on time for your session, arriving too early can mean I am not available to meet with you due to

being with another client or not being at the studio yet. Arriving any later than 20 minutes will mean that your

session will be cut short and we may not achieve all the poses and setups as planned.

3) Please ensure you have read the session prep guide and do not forget items such as dummies, nappies, baby

milk and bottles etc... This can greatly hinder the outcome of the session and lead to wasted time.

4) I understand that your baby is the single most precious miracle and for that reason I have spent countless hours,

professional training and development and have invested in the best newborn photography and safety training.

You can be sure that your baby is in safe hands. It is only natural that you may want to stand in very close

proximity to the photographer but this can cause trips and falls which can be dangerous.

5) If you are having family photographs taken with baby it is advisable to wear plain simple clothing, and

that both parents dress within the same colour palette, this is to ensure the focus of the image is on baby.

Light pastel colours we find work best as well as black.

6) Due to the Covid-19 pandemic it is now not permissble for clients to bring their own props due to hygiene

purposes. If this changes in the future and it is later permissable, you must select the images

where your prop has been used and that would count as one of your image choices within your package.

7) A delay in the payment of your session fees will result in a delay in receiving your gallery, images are only edited

when the session fee has been paid in full.
